By creating an account or using Markday, you agree to these Terms of Service. If you do not agree, please do not use Markday.
We may update these terms from time to time. Continued use of Markday after changes are posted constitutes acceptance of the updated terms.
Markday is a personal productivity tool that helps you log your professional work and generate drafts for performance reviews. You answer a few questions each day, and Markday builds a searchable record of your contributions over time.
Performance reviews generated by Markday are AI-drafted starting points based on what you have logged. You are responsible for reviewing and editing all AI-generated content before submitting it to your employer or using it in any professional context. Markday makes no guarantees about the accuracy, completeness, or appropriateness of any generated draft.
You are responsible for keeping your login secure. Markday uses magic links sent to your email address — do not forward or share these links.
One account per person. You may not share your account with others or create accounts on behalf of third parties.
Markday offers a 7-day free trial with no credit card required. After the trial period, a paid subscription is required to continue using the service.
You may cancel your subscription at any time. Cancellation takes effect at the end of your current billing period. We do not offer refunds for partial billing periods.
Payments are processed by Stripe. By subscribing, you also agree to Stripe's terms of service.

Markday uses Anthropic's Claude API to generate summaries and performance review drafts from your work log entries. This content is produced by an AI system and may contain errors, omissions, or phrasing that does not accurately reflect your work.
You should always read and edit AI-generated drafts before using them. Do not submit AI-generated content to your employer without first reviewing it for accuracy.
Markday does not use your data to train AI models. See our Privacy Policy for more details on how your data is handled.
You may delete your account at any time from the Settings page. Deletion permanently removes all your data.
We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these terms, engage in abusive behaviour, or where continued service would create legal or operational risk. We will make reasonable efforts to notify you before doing so.
Markday is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind. We do not guarantee uninterrupted access or that the service will be free of errors.
To the fullest extent permitted by law, Markday and its operators are not liable for any employment decisions, professional consequences, or other damages arising from the use of AI-generated content produced by Markday. You are solely responsible for how you use and present generated content in professional settings.
